Collinswood Neighborhood

A close-knit, diverse neighborhood positioned between North Church Street and Lee’s Chapel Road, families from all walks of life have enjoyed it here, some for over 20 years.    On any given Saturday, lawns are being mowed, while children enjoy a nice impromptu water-fight or shoot a few hoops.  It is a safe place to walk your fur-babies, while also enjoying a casual stroll through the not-so-busy streets.

This is a prime location near the Village at North Elm featuring various types of shops including Harris Teeter, Panera Bread, and Duck Donuts. Um…Duck Donuts…need I say more?  The area is also right down the street from the iconic What-A-Burger, a family owned business established in 1959.  You can count on this place for fast, fresh, and friendly service every time.  There are many other shopping centers nearby within a 3-mile radius.

If in need of recreation, there is the Craft Center, located on Yanceyville.  Although largely for the youth, there is also available for adults to use the facility for basketball or rent rooms for your event needs.  For children, they provide basketball, baseball, football, and cheerleading for various age groups.  Planet Fitness, Skateland USA, and Air Fun Trampoline Park are also just around the corner!

In all, this is a great neighborhood to raise a family.  The quiet, friendliness and respect neighbors have for one another is refreshing.
